        Andrea
So glad to hear this feedback! Dr. Group is amazing as are the others!

      • Linda Francis says:

What a brilliant interview with Edward Group! I finally understood B12 and Intrinsic factor! I learnt so much more than just PPI’s have interferred with the B12 production in my body. Thank you so much for this interview!

    • Sinnathamby Nagiah says:

Enlightening info. The first time I learnt the importance of appendix and thinking back I think the organ is constantly sampling and analyzing the food we eat sends information to the brain. Thank you.

    • Tatiana says:

I am 74 years old, and about 3, 4 years ago i became aware of importance of B12. Mostly because I had an older relative, who was a bit low on it, so I started taking it also, and was doing it till about a year and a half ago when my Iron dropped, and doing the Lab work I realized that my B12 was doing great, really high. I stopped with the supplementation, but kept doing the Lab work, because of Iron. My B12 stayed high, and the last test I did about 3 months ago was still really high. I dont eat red meat, only some Salmon, Poultry in small amounts. No B12, and only about 6 month ago B-Complex from time to time. I am puzzled by B12 amounts in my system!

  • Anne says:

    Thanks Anne Adam

    Thank you

  • Steve says:

So much info! 🤯 Thank toy for sharing.

  • Gina Hulse says:

I’ve been taking cyanocobalamin shots for a number of years now for pernicious anemia, lupus, neuropathy, etc. Will the B12 supplement that you mentioned (the one you created) work for me (due to the intrinsic factor issue with pernicious anemia)? I honestly did not realize the cyanide molecule…or really think about it much until now. Thanks for the wealth of information.

    • Zarah says:

I am also wondering about the cyanocobalamin. Two years ago I was tested and had very low levels of B12 (only 50 units) so both my homeopath and nutritionist recommended a few months of shots followed by B12 supplements which I’ve been taking every day since then. However, the shots were cyanocobalamin as well as the supplements I am currently taking, as both told me this is the best form (even though most of the research I read said methylcobalamin is the best and safest form).

Wondering if this has been harmful to me all these years and if I should switch over to a methylcobalamin supplement straight away?

  • Terre Wolak says:

What about using a B complex supplement which includes B12? Are capsules or liquid under tongue the best?

  • Sonja says:

    Greetings from Germany!
Dr. Edward F. Group talks about the appendix and that there exists an easy way to reduce inflammation which can save us in case from hospital. Can you PLEASE inform us about this method?
    Thank you so much!
This is surely a life saving information 😉

  • Janet Kenworthy says:

    Janet.

  • Anonymous says:

I am just beginning to listen and he is already very interesting! I have a comment about the common referral to anxiety as a “mental illness”. I believe malaise, discomfort might be appropriate words, but “mental illness” may conjure up other associations, and be going too far. I know this is the common frame of reference, so it is not about Dr Group, but I did want to mention this. Thank you.

    • Jay says:

That is interesting to me. I’ve always felt in a state of discomfort so if people asked if I was anxious, I said no.

    • Trudy Scott says:

      Anon

The majority of folks with anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, PTSD etc go to a psychologist or psychiatrist so it’s considered a mental illness.

But I agree, we’re using the mainstream terminology from the DSM-IV: Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, but in the context of this summit we should just say anxiety caused by low B12 or parasites or gluten etc

    • Naomi says:

I feel the same way about people referring to anxiety as a mental illness. The anxiety I experienced was from a hormonal imbalance…nothing mental about that. I started natural hormone therapy and my anxiety went away along with other symptoms that were related to hormonal imbalance. Maybe it’s a mental illness for some people? I don’t know, but mine was a physiological response to an imbalance in my body.

  • C says:

I follow Dr. Group on YouTube. He’s very informative. I appreciate his YouTube vlog. Thank you!

  • Elaine says:

With MTHFR and Comt, what B12 does he suggest to try or do i start with another supplement to open channels first? I have not found a B 12 i can take without getting shaky or irritable, so i don’t use it and have shown to be deficient on blood test. It’s a dilemna when you need it but can’t tolerate it. Thanks for reading this and your very excellent talk.

  • sandi ewing says:

I am enjoying and learning so much from this entire anxiety summit5. Thank you so much Trudy for putting all this together. Dr Group is my most favorite speaker because I’m experiencing the B12 deficiency problem. After many shots of B12 and still feeling severe fatigue and severe neuropathy, I noticed that my B12 level on the blood test was >2000. At a later date, I had an Organic Acid Test (for gut issues) and my Methylmalonic Acid was high and this indicated that my B12 was low. From here supplementing can help many, but for me, it still did not help. I had to add other B vitamins and supplements to get the B12 to start working. This is a serious problem, there are many not getting help to identify the B12 Deficiency. My B12 was so low that I was experiencing neuropathy as well as many other B12 deficiency symptoms. From what I am learning, this is a problem that many have and have no idea. Dr Group explained it so well. The symptoms of B12 deficiency are so many and varied that people have no idea that they are having this problem. Anxiety was and is a big problem for me and B12 is involved along with pyroluria.

  • Karen says:

Thank you. very good info. Live healthy. Live Happy. 🙂

  • Gwyn says:

Thank you for this wonderful summit series of talks! Can you please tell me what are the issues if B12 comes in well over the normal range, for example, 1599; not taking B12 supplement, yes taking B Complex that includes B12. (My father had pernicious anemia and received B12 shots regularly). I am wondering if my high numbers could be an issue of the B12 I am taking not being properly absorbed or utilized in the body and thereby left floating in excess. Does that make any sense? I have many of the symptoms mentioned but I realize they may have other causes as well.

    • sandra ewing says:

Gwyn, My B12 was high also and my doctor said okay your b12 is okay. It was not okay and no one knew it. If you have a methylmalonic acid and homocysteine test done and they are high, then your B12 is actually really low. The B12 test that this done now is inaccurate for those of us with very low B12. If you read the Pub Med articles on B12 levels, you will find that this problem has been published for many years. Even the NIH has write up’s about B12 testing not being accurate. My guess is that you really are B12 deficient as I was and I was extremely deficient. Most doctors don’t know this and don’t know how to handle this.

  • Janet says:

    Good day from South Africa

I have found this entire summit to be beyond any expectation and have valued the wealth of information and advice. I have suffered with anxiety most of my life and now approaching 70 not ever having heard of conditions such as pyroluria. We can’t look back but regret not knowing before what I have learned over the past few days but will pass this forward.
Thank you Trudy. Keep the good work going because you are touching lives in a way that main stream medicine can never achieve.

  • Michelle says:

Thank you Dr. Group for your service in our military. Just read that. My dad was a veteran also! I use two of Dr. Group’s supplements- just added on his Vegan 12! I have MS that affects my nerves throughout my body, that can cause really bad nerve pain, and weakness in your arms and legs. I do also, have neuropathy more from not good circulation, than diabetes, which has been under complete control (the latter) when I switched to a plant based, vegan diet, and although diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, I have always had a perfect A1C- fasting blood sugar test. since cutting out processes, most all sugar except fruits, dairy, and bad carbs. I buy his supplements because he has done extensive research on each product, he and his team of experts. All I know is my digestion is much better, and now knowing a vegan should include Vitamin B12, I just added his to my supplement regimen! Bless you sir for all the info you give on the Global Healing products I read and general info.Thank you both for this interview!☺☺

  • Troy Mylius says:

I can’t stop thinking about the interview with Dr. Jay Davidson and I’m excited to try his protocol and my FMD is on board. Thank you for this summit Trudy. Wish it didn’t require so much time to watch or listen (insert sales pitch here 😉 but great information nonetheless. I’m learning a lot.

  • Amanda says:

I live in northeast Florida. Do you have any recommendations for a functional medical doctor in my are who specialized in mthfr mutations and depression?

  • Irene says:

I missed the talk about b12 and ocd . Could You please give me a short answer on how to use b12 for this problem

    • Trudy Scott says:

      Irene
It’s a long interview and packed with information. Short answer: B12 deficiency is more common that you’d expect, it’s seldom tested for and there are many reasons it can be low. Please tune in on encore weekend Nov 23-24 to hear the entire interview

  • Trudy Scott says:

I do want to mention that Global Healing Center are one of the summit sponsors and are kindly offering a discount on their B12 product. More info here https://theanxietysummit5.com/sponsor/global-healing-center/

  • Louise says:

So great but disappointing that VEGANSAFE™ B12 & B12 TRI-BLEND is very expensive to ship to Australia. Many of the products from this summit are USA or Canada only. Products I use currently come from the US but are easily affordable due to free, or minimal, cost of postage to Australia. We are a global society and this is a very small product, postage should not need to be so expensive.

    • Trudy Scott says:

      Louise
Thanks for mentioning this – great point! I’ll keep this in mind going forward and also see if we can make a plan with Vegansafe after the summit. I’ll let you know my newsletter so stay tuned

    • So sorry to hear this Louise, that in mind, we do have retailers in Austrlia. Give us a call and we can help — our Distributor department can be reached by phone at 1-800-476-0016 (option 4) weekdays 10 am – 6 pm CST.
